The Kid Laroi rumored to headline Fortnite event in January

Epic Games is reportedly collaborating with The Kid Laroi, an Australian rapper and singer, for a virtual concert in Fortnite. The event is rumored to be taking place in the next few weeks, on either January 24 or 25. According to sources familiar with the collaboration, the music from the event will remain available in the game for at least a month after the concert.

Fortnite has hosted a number of live events and virtual concerts in the past, including the Travis Scott collaboration Astronomical, which attracted over 12 million concurrent users, and the Rift Tour featuring Ariana Grande. The Kid Laroi would be a notable addition to this lineup, as he has gained fame through his friendship with Juice Wrld and his collaboration with Justin Bieber on the top-ten Billboard hit "Stay."

Details about the concert are currently scarce, but if the rumors prove to be true, more information may surface soon. In addition to the collaboration with The Kid Laroi, there have also been rumors of a crossover event between Fortnite and the Dead Space franchise. However, neither Epic nor Dead Space publisher EA have confirmed these reports.
