Why are Funding Stations disabled in Fortnite?

What are Funding Stations in Fortnite and how do they work?

Money Stations (also known as Donation Stations) are special pop-up windows that appear on the Fortnite map and allow players to pay Gold Bars in order to 'unlock' an exclusive or vaulted weapon, item, or automobile for them to use.

The most common type of Funding Station has a specific goal to achieve, and players from all over the world contribute Gold Bars until the goal is achieved. Afterwards, whatever they're funding, whether it's a Turret or a Battle Bus, will be made available to play with.

In the second version of Funding Station, players can cast their votes for which of two goods they'd want to see added to the treasure pool by donating Gold Bars to one of the two options. Typically, this is an option between two weapons or throwable things.

Why are Funding Stations disabled in Fortnite?

If you've recently launched Fortnite, you may have noticed that ‘Funding Stations are now disabled,' meaning players can't donate Gold Bars.

Epic Games has temporarily suspended Funding Stations due to a "stability issue," however any donations made up to this time will still count towards the vote.
